About Us

Camp Maravilla is a fun, unique and nurturing home-based weekly immersion camp for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old. There is a playful spirit permeating the environment created at Camp Maravilla that begins in the hearts of our native Spanish speaking teachers. They have a genuine love for children and a passion for what they do. This love, along with a holistic approach to learning through play and social interaction, is what makes Camp Maravilla unique. And, of course, we do it all in Spanish! There is no greater time to leverage brain development and give your children the gift of a second language. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Claudin Mangum will serve as Lead Teacher in the summer program and work with the support of Anabel Rosbach. We will run the program with themes built on nature and the outdoors. Initial activity planning focuses on elements needed to support and foster second language, social, emotional and motor skill development.

Meet the Teachers

Claudin Mangum, a native Spanish speaker, has lived in Raleigh for over ten years. She is a parent to two bilingual children and has experience in teaching Spanish to preschoolers. Claudin understands first-hand the importance of building cross-cultural bridges - She speaks four languages, has family living on four different continents and has travelled to many countries around the world.  Claudin’s passion and expertise will ensure that Camp Maravilla provides a meaningful experience for every child in our camp.
